ISVs asked to donate SW for OpenGL ES Conformance Testing Trials
The Khronos OpenGL ES Working Group is working hard to define official Conformance Tests and Sample Implementations for the anticipated public release of the OpenGL ES 1.0 Adopters Package in January at CES in Las Vegas.
They are looking for OpenGL ES test programs or applets in order to exercise the sample implementations as much as possible before release.
If you have any applications or test software (small bites are great, they don't need core applications) and you would like to contribute it to the Khronos Group's efforts - either in binary (ideally Windows, Linux or Symbian platforms) or even in source form - they would
be most appreciative. So appreciative, they may ask if they can use these results in a global press release and on their website.
This is a great chance to have the OpenGL ES Working Group make sure your test code is compatible with the OpenGL ES 1.0 API!*
Contact the Khronos Group Managing Director at elizabeth@eriegelconsulting.com as soon as possible with details if you are interested.
* If your sample or test software is used, they will be able to give you informal feedback, however, they cannot guarantee that your SW will be used if donated.
